”I’m comfortable with painting either big paintings or small ones, the middle size is somehow uneasy for me. I often make a series of small paintings and then paint bigger versions of some of the ones that I feel would work in a big size. Angel-like faces and figures seem to appear often in my paintings. This angelic figure is specially painted for New York Art Expo 2017, and she might look like a younger version of one iconic figure from NYC… There’s even a hidden symbol somewhere on the canvas.”
